A lacklusture performance from the mac against a poor Glanville side. David McCann got himself on the scoresheet for the first time this season got the mac off the mark after going a goal down early on. Conor McKee put the mac 2-1 up with a goal just outside the box. David McCann scored his second just before the break. Glanville pulled one back but, the mac held out for the win to stay top of the league.
Man of the Match: David McCann.

A good battling performance but a performance that lacked much creativity against Amatuer League side Fort. two defensive mistakes from the mac defence gave Fort a 2 goal lead early on. Christopher Lawlor pulled one back before the break to give the mac a chance but, it wasn't to be.
Man of the Match: Gerard Rowntree.

Another poor display against an average Plunkett side. 2-0 down by half time looked to have the mac on the way to a first league defeat, but for a Sean McGovern Penalty and a Damien McMillen header salvaged a draw.
Man of the Match: Gerard Smith.

A very easy win against fellow premier league side Westrock. A rain drenched match dominated from start to finish with goals from Conor McKee, Sean McGovern, Daire McKee, Kevin Hughes and Damien McMillen. The pick of the goals coming from Daire McKee after great one touch football from a few of the mac players.
Man of the Match: Daire McKee.

A great win with goals from Neal Heaney, Martin Mush and Stephen Manning, against Colinvalley II in the cup the mac hope to retain after the brilliant sucess achieved in 2004.
Man of the Match: Neal Heaney.

  • Sat, 22nd Oct 2005. 1st Team, Game four.

Sean McGovern showed exactly what the mac were missing in the previous Junior cup game with a free kick that would grace any stage in football. This was definitely the worst football match that's likely to be played all season. Missed opportunities after a well taken Jim Largey penalty for the west and great goalkeeping from Gerard Smith almost resulted in 10 man mac stealing this one. a great chance for the mac in the dying minutes went begging , but, a draw was probably a fair result as none of the two teams played any kind of football.
Man of the Match: Gerard Smith.
