A lacklusture performance from the mac against a poor Glanville side. David McCann got himself on the scoresheet for the first time this season got the mac off the mark after going a goal down early on. Conor McKee put the mac 2-1 up with a goal just outside the box. David McCann scored his second just before the break. Glanville pulled one back but, the mac held out for the win to stay top of the league.

A good battling performance but a performance that lacked much creativity against Amatuer League side Fort. two defensive mistakes from the mac defence gave Fort a 2 goal lead early on. Christopher Lawlor pulled one back before the break to give the mac a chance but, it wasn't to be.

Sean McGovern showed exactly what the mac were missing in the previous Junior cup game with a free kick that would grace any stage in football. This was definitely the worst football match that's likely to be played all season. Missed opportunities after a well taken Jim Largey penalty for the west and great goalkeeping from Gerard Smith almost resulted in 10 man mac stealing this one. a great chance for the mac in the dying minutes went begging , but, a draw was probably a fair result as none of the two teams played any kind of football.

A very poor performance from an under-strength mac against amatuer league side Goodyear. Big losses to the team that day were the usually impressive Sean McGovern and Gerard Rowntree. Only 3 players, Gerard Smith, David Crane and Sean Mooreland, came away with their heads held high. A terrible 1st half had seen the mac go 2 down. an early 2nd half penalty miss from David Crane looked to have killed any hopes of a comeback but, shortly after, Kevin Hughes scored a great goal to give hope. With the mac pressing for a late equaliser, Goodyear scored on the break to see them through to the 3rd round.

An excellent win against amateur league side, Kilroot FC. Kilroot took the lead early on in the match with a well-taken goal. Sean McGovern leveled with his head and Conor McKee put the mac in the lead with the pick of the goals just before the half time whistle. Kilroot were deservedly awarded a penalty early in the second half which was put away to level the match, 2 more goals from Conor McKee for the hat-trick gave the Mac a well deserved win to book a place in round 2 away to Goodyear FC.

Not the greatest opponents the Mac will face in this season of realistic hope at taking the title. Big Richard opened the scoring in the 1st half, lobbing over the St.Marys' Keeper. Kevin Lawlor added a second followed by a superb free kick from sub Chris Lawlor. What should have been a comfortable end to the game turned into an edgey one, with the Mac players falling asleep and conceding 2 late goals.
